Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support patient care on a 7A-7P shift. The role requires an active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification and proficiency with various respiratory therapy devices, with ongoing competency development.

A strong computer work ethic is also expected. You will join a multidisciplinary team, delivering respiratory therapy per physician orders and established standards, serving patients of all ages, within a safety-net

Qualifications

• Must have training/experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Must be a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with standards maintained, as recognized by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
• Familiar with multiple types/brands of respiratory therapy/diagnostic equipment with a strong desire to maintain competency.
• Experience working with computers.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients in accordance with physician orders and established standards.
• Maintain and support the respiratory system across patient ages as part of the multidisciplinary team.
