Job summary

Citi in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join the Recovery & Resolution Planning team within Finance. The role develops and maintains preparedness, including strategies and plans, to support regulatory requirements and strengthen firm resilience during stress.

You will coordinate regulatory submissions, partner across Finance, Risk, Operations and Technology, and report to senior leadership on regulatory deliverables and governance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Recovery & Resolution Planning, stress testing, finance, treasury, business management, risk management, regulatory affairs, or related field.
• Strong project management skills, including multi-workstream delivery.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations and data analysis.
• Familiarity with AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications.
• Ability to communicate complex subject matter effectively to senior executives, regulators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clear direction and follow-up guidance.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong risk awareness.
• Experience influencing stakeholders within a large, matrixed organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Public Policy, or another analytical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of recovery and resolution planning deliverables.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for contingency actions to restore capital and liquidity in stress.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather information and develop content for regulatory submissions.
• Support planning frameworks for critical business activities, essential operations, and financial resilience.
• Draft and review executive summaries, regulatory materials, and senior management communications.
• Coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies and regulatory deadlines.
• Present analyses, recommendations and status updates to senior management and governance forums.
• Translate regulatory, financial and operational topics into clear actions and follow-up items.
• Escalate emerging risks and issues while operating with sound judgment.
• Support regulatory response activities, simulations and strategic resilience initiatives.
