The technologist conducts overnight and daytime sleep studies, monitors patients, and ensures accurate data collection in a patient-centered environment.

You will calibrate equipment, record and analyze data, prepare reports, and collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited polysomnographic program.
• Certification as RPSGT or equivalent.
• BLS certification and hands-on experience with polysomnography equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate polysomnographic equipment before patient studies.
• Monitor patients during sleep studies and track physiological parameters.
• Record and analyze sleep study data for physician review.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during testing.
• Prepare detailed reports and assist physicians with treatment plans.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot sleep study equipment.
• Adhere to protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients about the sleep study process.
