Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to provide comprehensive sleep disorder evaluation and therapy.

You will perform polysomnography, calibrate equipment, document sleep stages and events, respond to emergencies, and help maintain sleep center operations.

The role requires RPSGT certification, an associate or bachelor’s in polysomnography, and 2 years of sleep center experience; night shift available.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in polysomnography.
• Alternative 1-year polysomnography program may be considered with equivalent experience.
• Certification: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required.
• Two years of experience in a full-service sleep center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & calibrate testing equipment and patient for testing.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events; document accurately.
• Ensure patient safety and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with health care team for optimal patient experience.
• Assist in maintaining sleep center operations and equipment.
