Job summary

Magrym Consulting, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee land surveying projects from initiation to delivery, coordinating field crews, survey technicians, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget results with accuracy and compliance.

You will manage full lifecycle, serve as main client contact, review data and plats, track budgets and change orders, and ensure permitting and licensing requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in land surveying, civil engineering, or construction project management.
• Familiarity with boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, and construction staking surveys.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar survey/CAD software preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: scoping, scheduling, field coordination, and final deliverable review
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates
• Coordinate with survey crews and CAD/drafting staff to keep field and office work aligned
• Review survey data, plats, and legal descriptions for accuracy prior to client delivery
• Track project budgets, invoicing milestones, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with state licensing boards, local platting/subdivision regulations, and utility coordination requirements (e.g., 811/call-before-you-dig)
• Manage project documentation, permits, and easement research
• Identify scheduling conflicts and resource needs across active projects
• Support proposal/bid preparation for new projects/
