Job summary

NIKA is seeking a RPIE Services Technician to support the Defense Health Agency in San Antonio, TX. You will conduct thorough inventories of building systems in healthcare facilities and ensure accurate labeling and tracking of equipment per RPSS.

NIKA is hiring for a RPIE Technician to support the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) RPIE Division in San Antonio, TX. The role is open to remote candidates. The role will require heavy travel to DHA facilities.

Job Description:

As a RPIE Services Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of equipment data in our healthcare facilities. You'll be responsible for conducting thorough inventories of building systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.

• Adhere to Real Property Systems Standards (RPSS) for accurate labeling and tracking of equipment.
• Conduct comprehensive RPIE inventories, capturing details of all systems within healthcare facilities, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarm devices used in preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure all operations, maintenance, and repairs in medical treatment facilities comply with relevant codes, standards, directives, and established criteria.
• Communicate status reports to necessary stakeholders.

Requirements:

• MUST be US citizen and have ability to obtain security clearance
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in computer-based or similar equipment inventory or data entry position
• Ability to travel 50% of the time
• Prefer experience within healthcare facility management, military treatment facility (MTF) Operations & Maintenance Procedures
• Prefer DMLSS experience
• Must be US Citizen
• Must be eligible to receive a NACI
