Role - RPG AS400 DEVELOPER
Duration - Multi Year Contract
Location - Onsite in East Liberty Ohio

Role Description This is a on-site RPG AS400 Developer role based in East Liberty, OH. The RPG AS400 Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain IBM iSeries (AS/400) applications using RPG and related technologies to support core business processes. Responsibilities include analyzing functional requirements, writing clean and efficient code, performing code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues.
Qualifications

• Solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and database concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming on IBM iSeries/AS400 platforms, preferably with RPG, CL, and DB2.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application to enterprise systems design.
• Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, APIs, and integration with legacy systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to debug and optimize complex legacy code.
• Experience working in secure environments or familiarity with identity and access management, IT security, or governance is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an on-site team environment.
