Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Irving, TX seeks an Information Services Developer Lead to oversee development teams and coordinate content within the designated focus area. You will drive implementation phases, from build to go-live, while maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance requirements.

This senior role requires strong communication, cross-functional leadership, and technical expertise across web platforms, middleware, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of Enterprise Application/Integration Design and Development of systems, databases, operating systems and Information Services.
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to develop and lead technical teams.
• Minimum of five (5) years development experience in a corporate environment required.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience and leading development teams are preferred.
• Working experience in Design and Coding.
• Knowledge of industry-standard WEB platforms (JAVA, NET/C#), Integration Middleware, Automation (RPA and Test Automation), Microsoft Internet Information Server, Linux, Apache, Unix, Microsoft Foundation Server.
• Experience working with Internal or External customers for an organization in coordinating work and designing solutions.
• Experience utilizing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Waterfall Methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates the focus area, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and strategy.
• Acts as primary representative in implementation phases including build, configuration, testing, go-live support, and optimization.
• Leads focus area workgroups and oversees related processes; facilitates cross-application sessions.
• Designs system processes with application and compliance teams.
• Liaises with end-users to understand business needs and communicate requirements and timelines.
• Maintains knowledge of Epic Nova/Galaxy documentation and related resources.
• Develops and maintains documentation to leverage latest features for efficiency.
• Provides technical development input and implementations aligned with enterprise architecture strategies.
• Evaluates proposed system acquisitions or solutions and advises on compatibility and cost.
• May require work outside normal hours and on-call rotation.
