Play & Learn in Royersford has a full-time opportunity for enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced older infant and toddler teachers to join our team. Work in a fun and friendly environment where PLAYING & LEARNING come together!

Playing is essential for healthy development and is the path to learning for young children. At Play & Learn, we combine play with an age-appropriate curriculum to foster independence and help children develop their unique concepts and learning styles. Our classrooms are filled with art, music, and laughter, offering interactive opportunities for learning, growth, and exploration. With 36 years of experience, we are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and working closely with families to create a safe, educational, and fun environment for children.

Responsibilities:

• Meet the individual needs of children, providing high-quality care
• Develop lesson plans
• Implement Play & Learn’s curriculum
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Promote a nurturing and engaging learning environment
• Encourage creativity through art, music, and play
• Plan and execute activities that build self-esteem and social skills
• Be physically able to lift at least 40 lbs and engage in indoor and outdoor activities
• Build positive relationships with children and families

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of related child care experience
• CDA credential or 6 credits in Early Childhood Education
• An associate degree in Early Childhood or a related field is a plus

Details:

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
