Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Royalty accounting experience required.
• Background in licensing, consumer products, wholesale, distribution, retail, or inventory-based environments preferred.
• Strong forecasting, inventory accounting, and analytical experience.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Power BI experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Manage royalty calculations, accruals, reporting, and payment processes.
• Analyze licensing agreements and ensure compliance with financial terms.
• Prepare royalty forecasts, estimates, and management reporting.
• Support month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with inventory, sales, licensing, legal, and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Review sales, inventory, and distribution activity to assess royalty obligations.
• Support internal and external audits related to royalty programs.
• Maintain and improve reporting systems, databases, and analytical tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
• Lead special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
