Job summary

Stantec in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Right of Way (ROW) Agent II to support transportation projects. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, government agencies, and landowners to facilitate title research, easement procurement, and entitlement activities.

Based out of Raleigh, this hybrid position requires field work as projects demand. The candidate will perform title research across records, leverage online databases, and ensure QA/QC of work.

Qualifications

• Experience in right-of-way title research or related land acquisition activities.
• Experience performing title searches and QA/QC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle data with attention to detail.
• Comfort with technology and various software/tools.
• Excellent customer service and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs right of way title research including reviewing records and closings.
• Familiarity with courthouse records: deeds, easements, mortgages, wills, court cases.
• Ability to conduct title searches up to 100 years.
• Use online databases and public records to identify landowners and research titles.
• Performs QA/QC of own work and others'.
• Prepares reports for weekly project status meetings on ROW acquisition.
• Other ROW duties as assigned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Analytical, problem-solver, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable using various technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Meeting with customers to secure signed easements.
