Job summary

Ohio Power Company is seeking a senior right of way (ROW) supervisor to lead land rights acquisition for distribution projects within the OPCo territory. You will advise management on ROW policy and supervise ROW agents and associates to ensure compliant, timely project delivery.

You will oversee the preparation of easements, licenses, and related documents, supervise settlement of damages, and maintain maps and records while promoting safety and adherence to AEP policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school with 2+ years ROW procurement experience.
• 8 years total ROW procurement experience required.
• Experience in surveying, title research or related work.
• Driver license and Notary Commission.
• Strong communication and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ROW personnel and contract staff.
• Formulate policies for land rights acquisition.
• Plan and oversee rights of entry, easements, licenses, and related documents.
• Coordinate with OPCo Management on hiring contractors.
• Direct settlement of damages and manage payments and vouchers.
• Maintain ROW maps and records.
• Promote safety practices.
