The County of Volusia is seeking an experienced Right of Way Specialist II for the Engineering & Construction division. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate or related field and two (2) years of experience in right-of-way administration; sale, acquisition or appraisal of real estate; real estate title searches and abstract preparation.

Responsibilities

• Review legal descriptions and prepare legal instruments and contract documents.
• Conduct title searches, abstract research, and process right-of-way actions.
• Maintain records and files related to acquisitions, leases and dispositions.
• Assist in condemnation proceedings, land donation and real estate closings.
• Coordinate changes to construction plans and maintain right-of-way management reports.
