Cannon Companies in Milton, WA is seeking a motivated Permit Coordinator to join the Outside Plant Engineering team. You will prepare, submit, and track Right‑of‑Way permits with local jurisdictions, coordinating with engineering and construction teams to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering or Construction permitting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn proprietary and cloud‑based systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret OSP plans and specifications.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain working relationships with local and regional permitting departments.
• Review and interpret engineering plans to prepare and submit accurate permit applications.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to resolve permitting issues.
• Monitor permit progress and communicate status updates internally and externally.
• Ensure permits are submitted, tracked, and retrieved in alignment with project timelines.
• Support various department goals and contribute to company success with minimal supervision.
