The Energy Cooperative is seeking a Right-of-Way Worker for our Utica, OH Service Center. This full-time, non-exempt role supports line crews in constructing, maintaining and operating overhead and underground lines by clearing right-of-ways.

Strong safety awareness and the ability to operate chainsaws and other equipment are essential. Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma or GED, a valid Ohio CDL Class A license (or ability to obtain within six months) and CPR/First Aid

Formación

• Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio CDL Class A license or ability to obtain within six months.
• CPR and First Aid training/certification required.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and with others in field conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain right-of-way equipment and vehicles safely.
• Climb and/or fell trees to clear interference with power lines.
• Place signs, cones and safety equipment along roads and rights-of-way.
• Work after hours, weekends and holidays as needed for outages.
