Job summary

AWI Management Corp. is seeking a dedicated and organized Roving Property Manager to oversee communities in Palmdale, CA and Lancaster, CA. The role emphasizes resident relations, high standards, and collaboration within a team.

Experience with affordable housing programs (RD, HUD, LIHTC) is strongly preferred. This full-time position requires driving access and a strong service orientation to maintain quality housing for residents.

Responsibilities

• Process applications, screen applicants, and verify landlord references.
• Prepare leases, house rules, and required documentation.
• Manage tenant certifications and re-certifications.
• Conduct move-ins and move-outs.
• Collect rent and security deposits.
• Enforce lease agreements and community policies.
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure property standards are met.
• Maintain curb appeal and property presentation.
• Market and advertise vacant units to attract qualified residents.
• Respond to emergency situations and follow company policies.
