Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician in Tampa, FL. You will support daily maintenance operations, perform repairs, and drive preventive maintenance across properties, ensuring move-in readiness and safety standards.

You will lead maintenance activities, oversee vendor work, and respond to service requests with a focus on resident satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Multifamily property maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification required; CPO certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly with quality service.
• Perform maintenance and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structures.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and common areas.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents per the Total Quality Make Ready program.
• Work independently while adhering to company standards and safety requirements.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
