Job summary

ConAm Management Corporation is seeking a Roving Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for the Las Vegas Region in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role involves guiding the maintenance team across multiple apartment communities, performing hands-on trades, and ensuring facilities meet quality and safety standards.

You will train staff, manage safety and customer service procedures, participate in budgeting, and handle preventive maintenance with a focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair and carpentry.
• Ability to operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve maintenance issues with minimal resident disruption.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with residents, team members and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to coach the maintenance team and monitor performance against community goals.
• Assist in training maintenance staff on maintenance, safety and customer service procedures.
• Assist with annual budget and bid recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with state laws and CONAM policies for the apartment communities.
• Perform and oversee routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance as needed.
• Ensure safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
• Ability to drive locally for property management maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Roving Assistant Maintenance Supervisor– Las Vegas Region | Las Vegas, NV

What We Are Looking For: We are seeking a skilled Roving Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Las Vegas Region in Las Vegas, NV. As part of our maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role by assisting with overseeing multiple apartment communities’ maintenance and performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community meet CONAM’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to coach the maintenance team and monitor the team’s performance against community goals.
• Assist in training the maintenance team staff on maintenance, safety and customer service procedures.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with annual budget and making recommendations on bids
• Adhere to and enforce compliance of all state law regulations and CONAM policies and procedures relating to the apartment community
• Perform and oversee routine preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency maintenance services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards in all maintenance activities.
• Ability to drive locally for business purposes pertaining to property management maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are: (Requirements of the Position)

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent, including proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
• Technical Skills: Ability to operate and maintain various hand tools and power equipment, such as drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC systems, and plumbing tools.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly assess and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with residents, team members, and vendors effectively.
• Customer Focus: A passion for delivering exceptional service to residents and creating a positive living experience.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in an on-call rotation to handle apartment maintenance emergencies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
