Position: Roving Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking to hire a skilledRoving Maintenance Technician based in the San Diego, CA area, to support two apartment communities across the region.

Your role is to provide general property maintenance and repair services across two communities while delivering excellent customer service to our residents and onsite teams.

Competitive Compensation: $22 - $24 per hour (commensurate with experience)

What You Will Do:

• Travel between assigned properties to support maintenance operations as needed
• Complete work orders involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general upkeep
• Diagnose and repair heating/cooling systems and components
• Prepare apartments for new residents by completing thorough make-readies
• Assist with grounds maintenance and curb appeal when necessary
• Communicate effectively with property teams and residents
• Serve on the emergency on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests
• Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment across properties

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 1+ years of hands-on maintenance or make-ready experience in multifamily housing, with the following qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Flexibility to adapt to different teams and work environments
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• HVAC and CPO certifications preferred but not required
• Strong time management and attention to detail
