Job summary

Paragon Building Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a roving cleaner to maintain office and commercial buildings in clean and orderly condition. The role covers cleaning offices, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas, with duties including trash removal, floor care, dusting, and restocking supplies, across sites as needed.

The position requires flexibility for weekends, overtime, and varying schedules, with a $20.00 hourly pay. A valid California driver’s license and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Proof of work authorization and completion of I-9 and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags.
• Cleaning corridors and stairwells.
• Removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable).
• Cleans and polishes furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures.
• Restocking supplies in, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Periodically cleans overhead vents and dust blinds.
• GMP Micro Cleaner experience is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (Day's may vary)
• 6 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
• Flexibility needed - Weekend's as needed

Pay: $20.00 hourly

Maintain office building, or other commercial building in clean and orderly condition based on the scope of work on job site assigned to. The roving cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas as needed, filling in for staff on vacation, leave of absence, or sick leave at different sites.

Specific Duties / Essential Functions:

• Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags.
• Cleaning corridors and stairwells.
• Removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable).
• Cleans and polishes furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures.
• Restocking supplies in, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

• Proficiency in English will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Floor Care Experience is a Plus

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum, as needed.
• Good hygiene skills are required.

Driving Requirements:
