Job summary

Helix Energy Solutions Group is seeking ROV technicians and supervisors for offshore operations. You will perform ROV, trenching, and ROVDrill tasks under the direction of the Superintendent/Supervisor, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will manage spares inventory, maintain detailed records, and execute maintenance per Helix Robotics procedures. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required; schedules vary from fixed rotations to project call-out work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of current safety and quality standards in offshore environments is needed.
• Completion of HUET/BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf and passport is required.
• Basic computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform ROV/Trenching/ROVDrill operations as directed and per procedures.
• Receive and perform inventory control of spares and consumables.
• Maintain system and project records (inventory, safety reports, logs).
• Conduct maintenance per Helix Robotics Maintenance System and keep maintenance records.
• Ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe.
• Carry out other tasks as delegated by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
• Cultivate a positive attitude and apply safe work ethics.

Offshore operations, data recording, maintenance and repair of the ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill systems and ancillary equipment under the direction of Superintendent / Supervisor

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill operations as directed and in accordance with approved procedures and Helix Robotics QHSE Policy and Objectives

To receive and perform inventory control of the system spares and consumables

To maintain system and project records (e.g. inventory, weekly safety reports, dive logs, video logs, etc… under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor

To conduct maintenance in compliance with Helix Robotics Maintenance System, and maintain records of maintenance

To ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe.

To carry out other tasks as delegated by Helix Robotics Project Manager or Superintendent / Supervisor

To cultivate and maintain a positive attitude.

To apply safe work ethics.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

COMPETENCIES:

Shall have High School Diploma or GED

Shall possess knowledge of current safety and quality standards as applied to systems and their requirements in an offshore environment

Shall complete HUET / BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf and obtain passport

Shall have basic computer skills
