Job summary

DFA is seeking a Transportation/Routing Supervisor at the Minneapolis Milk Plant in Minneapolis, MN to lead scheduling and dispatch for drivers, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries. You will optimize routes, resolve routing challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.

The role requires directing drivers, maintaining schedules, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced dairy distribution environment. Shift: 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in logistics or transportation is preferred.
• Familiarity with routing and delivery coordination is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily work directions to drivers and assign vehicles.
• Schedule and dispatch loads to meet customer needs and optimize routes.
• Communicate delivery instructions and update shipment status to customers.
• Prepare and maintain records, reports, and KPI data.
