Job summary

Burns & McDonnell's Great Lakes Region seeks a Routing & Siting Project Manager to support electric transmission line routing studies, environmental surveys, NEPA analysis, and land use permitting services. This role combines technical leadership with business development responsibilities in a leading engineering and environmental firm.

The successful candidate will manage projects from routing and environmental permitting perspectives, lead technical reporting, and develop client relationships

Qualifications

• Experience leading routing or siting studies and environmental permitting.
• Knowledge of NEPA documents and CPCN/energy siting processes is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience with multiple PJM states and regulatory environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage routing/siting studies and environmental analyses to support regulatory applications.
• Lead and mentor project team members; develop proposals and cost estimates.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Interact with public officials, agencies, property owners, and clients; manage permitting processes.
