Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Routing Specialist to plan and optimize daily routes for dedicated customers. You will process orders with routing software, interface with operating teams nationwide, and collaborate with CI/engineering leadership to ensure timely execution.

The role requires a 0–1 year background in transportation or supply chain, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This is a salaried position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline is required.
• 0–1 year in Transportation or Supply Chain industry is required.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and SQL basics is preferred.
• Beginner level in Lean tools such as 5S and Visual Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize daily routes for multiple customers across the Ryder network.
• Monitor order files and routing outputs to DTS operating teams.
• Produce optimal, executable multi-stop routes within defined timeframes.
• Manage CI projects from initiation to sustained results; collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
