Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Routing Specialist to support the Continuous Improvement culture with daily route planning for dedicated customers. You will use routing software to produce optimal routes for execution by the Ryder operating team, interfacing with teams nationwide and collaborating with the engineering group.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain management.
0–1 year in transportation or supply chain industry preferred.
MS Office suite with Access, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

Performs daily route planning for operating teams using routing software.
Monitor electronic processing of orders and routes back to DTS operating teams.
Produce optimal, executable, multi-stop routes for dedicated customers.
Manage route planning for multiple sessions daily across locations.
