Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Routing Specialist to plan and optimize daily routes for dedicated customers across the Ryder network. You will leverage routing software to produce executable multi‑stop routes for the operating teams and collaborate with CI and Engineering where needed.

The role reports to CI leadership and integrates with Operations management. This is a salaried position offering growth and a focus on safe, efficient transportation planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management (or related discipline) required.
• 0–1 year in Transportation or Supply Chain industry experience required.
• 0–1 year in Transportation Experience (Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL) preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) beginner level required.
• Knowledge of data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) and SQL/DAX beginner level preferred.
• Lean core tools knowledge (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, problem solving) beginner level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily route planning for operating teams using automated processes and routing software.
• Monitor order file processing and routing data back to DTS operating teams.
• Produce optimal, executable, multi-stop routes within defined time frames.
• Manage route planning for multiple sessions per day across locations.
