Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Routing Specialist to optimize daily route plans for dedicated customers using automated processes and routing software. You will generate executable, multi-stop routes for Ryder operating teams and interface with field operations and CI/engineering groups.

This role emphasizes data-driven decisions, timely execution, and collaboration within a fast-paced transportation environment, reporting to CI/Engineering leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required.
0–1 year in Transportation or Supply Chain industry required.
0–1 year in Transportation Experience preferred (Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL).
Beginner level Microsoft Office Suite with Access, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio; data visualization knowledge (Power BI, Tableau) a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs daily route planning using automated processes and routing software.
Monitor electronic processing of order files and routes to operating teams.
Produce optimal multi-stop routes based on parameters and orders.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams across locations.
