Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Routing Specialist to support continuous improvement by planning and optimizing routes for dedicated customers. You will leverage routing software to produce executable multi-stop plans and collaborate with operating teams and CI engineers across the Ryder network.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, business, or SCM and 0–1 year in transportation or supply chain roles, with strong Excel/PowerBI skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 0 to 1 year in Transportation or Supply Chain industry experience required.
• Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, problem solving) preferred.
• Experience with Excel, Access, PowerPoint; basic data visualization tools desired (PowerBI/Tableau).
• Ability to model routes using routing software and transportation planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily route planning for multiple locations and customers.
• Monitor electronic order processing and route completion for execution.
• Produce optimal, executable multi-stop routes within defined timeframes.
• Coordinate with operating teams and CI/engineering counterparts.
