Job summary

LRS is seeking a team member in Indianapolis to assist in refuse collection and routing support. You will ride with the driver, read maps and route sheets, and help operate collection equipment on daily routes.

The position requires legal eligibility to work in the United States, reaching 18 years of age, and the ability to pass pre-employment testing. English proficiency is essential for safety and communications on site.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in United States
• Must be at least 18 years old
• No license suspensions in last 2 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in last 2 years
• Must pass pre-employment testing
• Must read and speak English well enough to communicate and follow safety directions

Responsibilities

• Ride along with the driver to assist in refuse collection on the route
• Read maps, diagrams and route sheets to follow daily routes
• Operate controls and collection equipment as needed
• Complete daily vehicle inspections, fueling and fluid level checks
• Submit daily service tickets and reports; report mechanical issues
• Complete daily reports, logs, and load/yad receipts
• Other duties as assigned
