Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Route Supervisor to lead and grow sales across assigned routes while managing and coaching Route Service Managers and drivers. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on field operations, including ride-alongs, fleet optimization, and client relationship building.

You will develop a high-performing team culture, ensure safety and compliance, and partner with the Market General Manager to hit revenue and GP targets on each route.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of sales, customer service, and delivery experience (prior sales management preferred).
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of route distribution, carrier operations, and basic computer systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs occasionally) and operate motor vehicles/forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Coaching: Manage, train, and develop drivers/RSMs. Conduct weekly ride-alongs to evaluate performance and celebrate success.
• Sales Growth: Partner with Market General Manager to achieve goals. Coach drivers to uncover new Gross Profit opportunities at every stop.
• Operations & Fleet: Produce daily/weekly route reports. Partner with Site Manager on fleet maintenance. Step in to cover routes, hot shots, or warehouse tasks as needed.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure 100% adherence to DOT, safety rules, and driver qualification standards.

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Route Supervisor to manage, train, and mentor our Route Service Managers (RSMs) and drivers while aggressively expanding sales across assigned customer routes.

In this pivotal role, you will bridge strategic leadership with hands-on field operations—conducting route ride-alongs, optimizing fleet efficiency, maintaining solid client relations, and building a high-performing team culture.

salary: $64,999 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
