Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Columbia, SC is seeking a Route Specialist. The role covers routes when teammates are away, handling orders, deliveries, and stock rotations on designated routes with courteous, professional, and safe service.

Responsibilities include stocking displays, facing products, and ensuring rotation standards are met. You may train new teammates and support the supervisor while meeting customer commitments and maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean 7-year MVR.
CDL or permit (Class A) or ability to obtain such.
Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Retail management or merchandising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Cover vacation routes to maintain established route standards and sales.
Order, fill, merchandise, and rotate products on shelves, displays, cold vaults, and cooler equipment.
Follow specified activities per route discipline (bulk, conventional, full service, cold bottle).
Assist the Supervisor in training new route sales teammates and support safety and efficiency.
Handle urgent customer needs to meet commitments, coordinating with sales, delivery, and customer management teams.
Assist supervisor with projects across the territory and other duties as assigned.
