Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Charlotte is seeking a Route Specialist to cover routes, manage orders, deliveries and unloading at customer locations on designated routes, ensuring courteous, compliant, safe and timely service.

This fast-paced role includes stocking and facing products on displays and in coolers, training new teammates when needed, handling urgent customer needs with Sales, Delivery and Customer Management teams, and acting as an ambassador for our brands.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean 7-year MVR
• CDL or permit (Class A) or ability to obtain
• Ability to pass DOT physical
• Experience in route delivery, stocking, merchandising is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly

Responsibilities

• Cover vacation routes to maintain established route standards and sales to prevent missing important opportunities
• Order, fill, merchandise, and rotate products on shelves, displays, cold vaults, and cooler equipment
• Specified activities per route discipline (bulk, conventional, full service, and cold bottle)
• Assist Supervisor in training new route sales teammates and assist supervisors as time permits, focusing on safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Handle urgent customer needs to meet commitments made to customers in a timely, consistent, and professional manner
• Assist supervisor with projects, tasks across the territory, and other duties as assigned
