Job summary

Island Restrooms is a family-owned portable restroom company serving Southern Florida. We are hiring a Route Service Technician for our Palm Beach Depot in Belle Glade to service toilets and luxury trailers on a daily route. We train new hires and offer benefits, with full-time, in-person work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required and a clean driving record is necessary for insurance.
• Strong reliability and integrity with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and perform physical tasks.
• Team player who follows directions and can adapt to a mobile route.
• Experience in route service or delivery driving is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive an assigned route to service, clean, and restock portable toilets and luxury trailers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain the service vehicle.
• Keep the depot yard organized and ready for daily operations.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional client service at each stop.
• Assist with special events and VIP properties as needed.
• Document service activities and report equipment issues.

Job description

Location: Palm Beach Depot, 808 NW Avenue L, Belle Glade, FL 33430 (serving the Palm Beaches and Lake Okeechobee area)
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, in person, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends for on-call service and events
No CDL required. No experience required. We'll train you.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required by our insurance and for access to client sites)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and pride in clean, well-kept equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and handle physical tasks like lifting, pushing, and pulling
• A team player who's comfortable taking direction
• Experience in route service, delivery driving, sanitation, landscaping, facilities, or other hands-on work is a plus, but not required
