Route Service Manager

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to join our team. The Route Service Manager will recruit and lead a team of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who deliver to multiple customers daily, ranging from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will focus on driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability for their location.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee recruiting, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
  • Build strong customer relationships and enhance team achievement in customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with location management to deliver excellent customer service and product programs.
  • Negotiate customer contract renewals.

Qualifications

  • An individual who is business-savvy and enjoys finding innovative ways to increase profit and customer satisfaction.
  • A results-driven relationship manager who is willing to support their team and customers.
  • Enjoy working with and supporting your team of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
  • Individuals who drive personal vehicles for work must meet minimum auto insurance requirements.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle various customer situations.
  • Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence.
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
