Route Service Manager

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Manager to join our team. The Route Service Manager will recruit and lead a team of Route Service Supervisors and Route Service Representatives who deliver to multiple customers daily, ranging from small family-owned businesses to major corporate locations. The ideal candidate will focus on driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Overseeing the recruiting, training, and development of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
  2. Building strong relationships with customers and elevating team achievement in customer satisfaction.
  3. Collaborating with the management team to ensure excellent customer service and product offerings.
  4. Negotiating customer contract renewals.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
  • Business-savvy individuals who enjoy increasing profits and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Results-driven relationship managers who are proactive and team-oriented.
  • Supportive leaders who enjoy developing their team of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors.
  • Must meet auto insurance requirements if using personal vehicles for business.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle various customer situations.
  • Ability to negotiate, train, coach, and lead.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
