Job Description

The Route Service Delivery Driver’s primary responsibilities include providing excellent customer service to residential, commercial, and retail clients, promoting growth through upselling, managing account information, and ensuring safety. This role involves operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safely and interactively.

Reporting Location: Lanham, MD
Pay: $66,500/year + tips
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed)
Start Time: Between 6 am - 7 am, until workload is completed

Skills Required:

• Safety Focus: Operate vehicles responsibly, follow safety protocols, complete DOT documentation, and report incidents or changes in driving status.

• Service Orientation: Be courteous, professional, meet customer preferences, maintain delivery records, support team decisions, and provide water dispenser cleaning services.

• Selling Skills: Follow pricing and promotion guidelines, upsell products, and meet customer acquisition goals.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement (for applicable positions).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong face-to-face sales skills and service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 250+ units daily, each up to 45 lbs., using appropriate tools, with accommodations if needed.
• Ability to climb in/out of a vehicle 40-55 times daily.
• Availability for 45+ hours/week, including variable start/end times.
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, and walk all day, with accommodations if needed.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card, have a clean driving record, and meet age requirements (21+).
