Job Description

The Route Service Delivery Driver’s primary responsibilities are to provide premium customer service to residential, commercial, and retail customers, promote growth through upselling, manage account information, and work safely. This role requires the ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) safely and effectively.

Reporting Location: Berlin, CT
Pay: $63,605 / year + tips
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Saturdays as needed)
Start Time: Between 6 am - 7 am until workload completion

Skills Required:

• Safety Focus: Operate a commercial vehicle safely, follow safety policies, and complete DOT documentation daily. Report incidents and driving status changes.

• Service Orientation: Be courteous, professional, and responsive to customer preferences. Maintain accurate delivery records, support team decisions, and provide water dispenser cleaning services adhering to quality standards.

• Selling Skills: Follow pricing and promotion guidelines, upsell products, and meet customer acquisition goals.

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement (for applicable roles).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service and face-to-face sales skills.
• Ability to work independently in various weather conditions and lift/move up to 45 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to climb in/out of a commercial vehicle 40-55 times daily.
• Willingness to work 45+ hours/week with variable start/end times.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card and have a clean driving record (specific criteria apply).
• Must be 21 or older (DOT requirement).
