Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring for a CDL Class B route driver in Florida. You will deliver and merchandise products to store shelves, unload, place orders, and use handheld devices to drive sales while following DOT rules.

Opportunities for advancement into leadership roles and comprehensive benefits are available. The role typically starts early with a Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional weekend travel and a move from West Palm Beach northward to Melbourne and New Smyrna.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.
• Ability to lift at least 35 pounds.
• 21+ years old with ability to pass DOT physical and background checks.
• Experience in DSD, grocery, delivery or warehouse is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and merchandise products to store shelves.
• Unload products, place in back room, and collect proof of delivery.
• Place orders and drive display space to promote new products.
• Use handheld sales software and maintain DOT compliance.
• Build in-store relationships and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow DOT rules and perform truck inspections.
