Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a CDL Class B route driver in Melbourne, FL to provide route coverage, deliver product, place orders, and merchandise to ensure products are available on store shelves.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend travel, an early start, and opportunities to develop leadership skills. A High School diploma and Class B CDL with airbrake are required; ability to lift 35 pounds and pass pre-employment checks is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous DSD, grocery, delivery, or warehouse experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Work a Monday -- Friday schedule (some weekend travel required at times); early morning start time
• Unload products, place product in the back room, and collect proof of delivery
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections
