Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking motivated, sales‑driven Route Relief Drivers to service customers on designated routes in the Albuquerque area. This role blends B2B sales with account management, offering real commission on new business and account growth while driving a 26’ bobtail truck.

Starting pay ranges from $18.75 to $19.85 per hour, with potential total annual compensation exceeding $80,000 after route assignment. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and customer service experience (required).
• Valid Class C driver's license (no CDL) with a clean driving record for the last 3 years (required).
• Ability to drive a 26’ bobtail truck.
• Comfortable loading/unloading your own truck with bags of linen up to 50 lbs daily (required).
• Must pass a drug test and clinic physical.
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a designated route; this is account management and outside sales, not just delivery.
• Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services.
• Upsell existing customers on additional products and services.
• Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule; load and unload the truck.
• Build long-term customer relationships through professional service; listen to and resolve service complaints, keeping your supervisor informed.
• Maintain inventory and follow inventory-control policies.
• Handle invoicing, collections, customer signatures, and accurate delivery and transaction records.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance on your truck, and maintain a professional appearance at every stop.
• Learn new technology and systems quickly and adapt to updates independently.
• Attend training and service department meetings.
