Safety-Kleen in Grand Rapids, MI is looking for a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee who will train to drive a Class B box truck, service parts washer machines, pick up hazardous waste, and sell products along a defined route. The company will sponsor CDL training.

Ideal candidates will have a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements in the horizon and a willingness to visit multiple customer sites daily, perform physical tasks, and uphold safety and regulatory standards in a

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test and physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all safety policies.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Serve automotive repair fleets and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles per DOT and company requirements.
• Observe environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
