Job summary

Alsco in Birmingham, AL seeks a Route Relief/Utility RSR to support the Service Department by covering routes and delivering excellent customer service. You will upsell/cross-sell services, learn routes, and assist in rush deliveries and audits while reporting to the District Manager.

Essential duties include driving, processing route paperwork, maintaining inventories, and ensuring timely textile deliveries. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL if applicable; 21+ years old.
• Clean driving record with no major violations; safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Cover routes as needed for holidays or vacations; perform service tasks.
• Support on routes; assist rush deliveries, renewals, audits, and training.
• Upsell/cross-sell services; maintain profitable product mix and build customer relationships.
• Safely operate delivery vehicle; ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and proper paperwork.
