Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver to operate a Class B box truck, service parts washer machines, and sell products on a defined route. You will visit 10–12 sites daily, switch drums, and generate new leads while upholding the highest health and safety standards.

The role requires a Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days, strong communication and customer service, and physical fitness to perform duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required with HazMat endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills for daily logs and routes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service abilities.
• Able to perform physical tasks and pass background/drug tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority and follow all policies.
• Visit 10–12 customer sites daily on the defined route.
• Switch 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions as needed.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell and generate new leads at customer locations.
• Service automotive fleets and manufacturing customers.
• Complete scheduled services, deliveries and pickups on time.
• Comply with all local, state and federal regulations including DOT rules.
• Operate vehicles safely and follow environmental guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
