Job description

Route Sales Representatives are crucial to our success at FritoLay! They are responsible for delivering, selling, and merchandising FritoLay’s full product line, including Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and more, to local stores such as gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores. As a Route Sales Representative, you will drive a FritoLay truck to various stores, unload orders, merchandise products, and collaborate with store managers to boost sales, manage orders, and keep records throughout the day.

Although you will start as a Route Sales Representative, we invest in your growth, opening opportunities for career advancement within our company or PepsiCo. Your typical tasks will include:

  1. Learning the basics of the role through four to six weeks of dedicated driving and selling training with our team.
  2. Running routes to gain experience in different store environments and meet new customers.
  3. Growing sales by building relationships, selling displays, and executing national initiatives.
  4. Attaining a set schedule with days off.
  5. Working in a fun, fast-paced, and physical environment.

Our operations run 24 hours a day, so schedules may vary. Team members often work weekends and holidays. The role is physically demanding; you should expect to be on your feet throughout your shift. Minimum qualifications include:

  • Being 21 years of age or older.
  • Having a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and the ability to obtain necessary state licenses.
  • Being able to frequently lift 40 lbs., with or without accommodations.
