Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is hiring a route driver to cover Orland Park and Cicero, IL. You will place orders and merchandise products to ensure our brands are available on store shelves for grocery shoppers.

The role offers a pay range of $56,000–$58,000 with base pay plus commission, a Monday–Friday schedule (occasional weekends), a fuel card, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Grocery experience preferred but not required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation and 18+ years old.
• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product with proper equipment.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Place orders and merchandise product to ensure our products are available on store shelves for grocery shoppers.
• Drive additional sales by gaining display space and promoting new products.
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize your personal vehicle for daily route.
