Job summary

Martin’s is seeking a Relief Route Salesperson to act as the front line ambassador, driving sales through in-store promotions, customer outreach, and efficient route management. You will balance orders, cash handling, and customer communication while maintaining safety and standards.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT card, and willingness to work flexible hours and weekends to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months’ related experience and/or training, or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes product to increase sales via shelf expansion, in-store promotions, end displays, new customer introductions.
• Adheres to established route sales objectives when acting as replacement for the established route sales.
• Operates sales ordering system, prepares paperwork and manages cash accounts.
• Performs job safely by adhering to all company policies and regulations.
• Submits customer changes and orders timely and accurately.
• Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales record with customer signature.
• Calls on prospective customers to solicit new business.
• Communicates and provides excellent customer service with store management daily.
