Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Specialist to deliver fresh product to existing customers, set up new accounts, and merchandise. You will work closely with customers to drive sales initiatives and ensure timely distribution in open routes.

The work location will vary with staffing needs and requires frequent driving, lifting, and early starts. We offer competitive pay ($75,000–$85,000 average), medical/dental/vision coverage, a retirement plan, sign-on and retention bonuses, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain and retain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to obtain Chauffeur License if job location is IN, MI, TN.
• Physical ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop and kneel for extended periods; frequent reaching.
• 1–3 years of experience in Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) preferred.
• Solid English language communication required.

Responsibilities

• Provide vacation relief for Route Sales Professionals and Loaders.
• Assist the Sales Leadership Team in day-to-day operations and issues as needed.
• Assist with training of new Route Sales Professionals.
• Deliver fresh product to existing customers on open routes until new RSPs are trained.
• Assist with rack resets and merchandising.
• Partner with Route Sales Professionals to align accounts across chains.
• Manage route operations including ordering, distribution, merchandising, promo activities, and holiday planning.
• Communicate with customers about promotions and delivery expectations.
