Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Louisville, KY is hiring a Route Sales Representative to support the Service Department by up-selling, cross-selling, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will report to the District Manager and travel daily to customer locations.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 2 years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move carts up to 500 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public facing work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL if applicable; 21+ years old.
• Ability to work across service, sales, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage new customers within assigned routes and refer qualified leads.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and relationships.
• Communicate with decision-makers and resolve service concerns.
• Follow SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management.
• Maintain inventories, route books, and customer files.
• Handle payments, credits, and change orders accurately.
• Monitor accounts and report customer feedback or competitive activity.
• Upsell services and refer leads to Sales Consultants.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep truck clean.
• Load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs; lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and dress code.
• Collaborate with service, sales, and operations as a relief driver.
