Job summary

Badlands Distribution is seeking a Route Sales Representative to help grow and service a territory in Fargo, ND. You will be out of the office, delivering ice cream, pizza and other frozen items to keep customer shelves stocked, while learning the area and building relationships with buyers and store staff.

You will meet monthly sales goals, handle customer inquiries professionally, and ensure smooth communications across the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25–40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Clean MVR and valid driver’s license required.
• DOT regulations compliance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Supply customers with ice cream, pizza and other frozen items to keep shelves full.
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain partnerships.
• Ensure clear communication at all levels of customer transactions and assist when issues arise.
• Meet monthly sales goals with supervisor to grow territory.
• Deliver products to customers, including loading, unloading and merchandising.

Job Responsibilities

• Supply customers with ice cream and pizza and other frozen items that they need to keep their shelves and bunkers full.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a courteous, prompt manner in order to maintain a loyal partnership with all customers.
• Ensure that effective communication is used at all levels of the customer transaction and always be available when issues arise.
• Meet sales goals set with a supervisor every month to guarantee that your territory is growing appropriately, and sales goals are being met.
• Deliver company products to the customer, loading, unloading and merchandising.
• Perform physical challenges several times throughout the day while still maintaining a positive attitude whenever dealing with customers or other team members.
• Learn the company policies and procedures and work within them, whether you are in the office, at the warehouse or delivering goods to a customer.
• Build strong relationships with your customers in a fast-paced, constantly moving environment.

Must be compliant with DOT regulations.
