Job summary

Mahaska is seeking an energetic Route Sales Driver-trainee to deliver beverages along a designated Conventional route. You will fill coolers and displays, rotate stock, merchandise, and place products at established accounts.

As a trainee you will learn the routes and may cover vacations, with potential to fill a route permanently if it becomes available. The position requires independence, reliability, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a two-wheel cart up to 200 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver a cart weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors and on a designated route.
• Excellent communication and independent work style.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, fill coolers and displays, rotate and merchandise beverage products.
• Place products at established accounts along a designated route.
• As a trainee, learn routes and fill in during vacations; support all routes year-round.
• Old route vacancies may become permanent assignments.

Description

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, hard-working Route Sales Driver-trainee. As a Conventional Route Sales Driver, you will deliver; fill coolers and displays, rotate and merchandise, and place beverage products at established accounts throughout a designated route. As the trainee, you will learn all of the conventional routes and be able to fill in during vacations as well as help on all routes year around. In the event that a route becomes vacant, you may have the opportunity to fill that route permanently.

Requirements

Possess the ability to work independently, be financially driven and dependable as well as have excellent communication skills. Ability to work in outdoors environment and able to lift up to 50 lbs. with ability to maneuver two-wheel cart weighting up to 200 lbs. Must have driver’s license with good driving record and be 21 years of age or older.

Requirements

Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Forklift experience is preferred, but not required. Possess a high school diploma or GED.
